there is a need of a plugin called jetpack, and  jetpack will prompt you to connect to wordpress.com  by your wordpress userID.

BUT THIS WILL BEONLY POSSIBLE WITH TWENTY ELEVEN  THEME, so go back to twenty eleven theme  and do that, and  then go back to your prefered theme.
